4 Products for 2024
I, like many other women I know, love to try a new beauty product. I may like what I have, but I’m secretly always holding out for that product that’s life changing-ly good, that I will absolutely love. Here are four items that changed beauty for me in 2024:
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
I can’t believe it took me this long to try this cult-favorite foundation! My search for the perfect base would have ended years ago had I just given into the insane price point. I tried the mini size during the most recent Sephora sale to justify this venture, and I don’t think I will be trying anything new in the foreseeable future. It is a truly perfect foundation - skin like, weightless, natural, great coverage, dewy. It’s everything. I’m in the shade 3.75 right now for my winter color, which is actually a secret perfect color match among the fair (pale) girl community - if you’re also pale/fair and unsure where to start with a color match. 2. Dae Dry Shampoo Powder
This one took me some time to get used to, but again, I cannot see myself going back to how my life was before we were introduced. I have a very sensitive nose and aerosols always caused headache and irritation. I dealt with the old school dry shampoo sprays out of necessity. I have now had the same bottle of dae, while applying liberally, for at least 6 months - a year now. It does an absolutely excellent job as a dry shampoo. Plus, like all dae products I’ve tried - it smells insanely delicious as well. No annoying head ache. LINK
3. Natasha Denona Concealer
We all experience aging on different parts of our faces, at different times in our lives, in different ways. The bane of my existence will forever be the wrinkles under my eyes from smiling too much, a sign of a life well-lived. This concealer has been the best (as of yet) as far as making me feel like the lines are less visible and lasting throughout the day. I would highly recommend color matching in person if you can, though, because I never would have matched myself to a rosy tone had I not gone into the store. I’m shade R2 for reference. LINK
4. INH Hair Mascara for Flyaways
This is maybe a niche use-case, but I have always had insane baby hairs near the front of my face. This helps tame those baby blonde hairs, but is also heaven sent if you are trying to get the perfect slicked-back look that’s super on trend these days. It just adds that extra touch to make you look polished when you’re heading out the door - it’s always in my purse these days and ready to tame at a moment’s notice! LINK
I wanted to keep this one quick and simple! I have other products I love, but in the spirit of the year 2024 - here are the top 4 stand-out beauty products in my mind when I think of what truly made a difference.
Happy New Year!
